My nightly escapades

My first nightly escapades probably happened on when I went driving with Lester, illegally, at the Bt Batok/CCK carpark. Hahaha. We didn't take any photo then. Went to Fish & Co. at IMM. His friend played him out, so we went for a huge meal before I go to work for Suzuki Cup. Probably was around 17 Dec.

After that was watching the Arsenal v Liverpool game after Singapore played Vietnam at the National Stadium. The Lions crashed out of the competition, and more nightmarish schedule for me followed.
With Raymond going on leave for a week during the festive period, we spent Lester's birthday with him at Lao Pah Sah after picking him up from Vivo City where he was working on Countdown for Channel 8. Raymond and I were almost locked in at the Cruise Centre. We tried to find our way out of the place after buying MacDonalds sundae, but found the place to be locked up. Raymond climbed over the counter at Macs, but me, being smarter, waited for the gate to open before walking through.

Went to Holland V with Lester. Found the ice-cream palour that Raymond was talking about and we ate "Just Got Dumped", which we found it to be marvelicious!! Purposely chose this, and we agreed to bring Raymond here the next time round so that he can eat this recipe too, as he just got dumped. Pretty mean of us!!

We then walked to the coffee shop for a drink. Sat there and chatted for hours. We spoke about a lot of things, almost everything under the sun. Seemed like a long time ago that I did this. I never thought I have been missing out of so much.

Went to catch a movie with Georgina and Lester. Didn't buy tickets in advance, so had to settle for the 11.15pm Changeling by Angelina Jolie. Saw this advertisement before the show started and the first person who came to our mind was Uncle Yam, Lester's boss. We thought maybe next time we should get him, a senior citizen to buy tickets for us. We sat at Starbucks to pass time, and I couldn't stop laughing after drinking the steam milk. And Georgina keep asking Lester, what did he put in the steam milk

Lester was curious about where we go whenever I dropped off Raymond, so we took him to the petrol station and bought ice-cream, Magnum, but different flavour for all. We ate downstairs of Raymond's block, talking non-stop and as usual, talking nonsense. They are amazed by my sense of direction, or should I say, the lack of it. Well, I pretty much rely on the street directory in my car to get to places and I always have ample time for my journeys in case I got lost.

16 Jan 2009
I made arrangement to meet up with Joanne, together with Lester and Raymond. Joanne and Lester had wanted to go Chinatown, as they wanted me to conquer my fear, but thank God I couldn't find any parking lot at Cow Car Water. Went to Maxwell market for dinner instead and dropped off Joanne at Orchard as she had to meet her boyfriend. Raymond couldn't make it for the dinner and we met up at Cold Rock, Holland V instead.

Raymond was already there when we reached, he was at a table where there were two swings. He was already at one, and I took the other. I was making a nuisance of myself the whole night, nearly upsetting the tub of ice-cream we bought. Raymond took photos of me, he went everywhere with his camera. We then made our way to a coffee shop there for a quick drink and drove around sixth avenue after that. Realised Raymond stayed at Clementi area before and I think I hit a sore spot unconsciously.

Raymond called me up and with the two of us bored at home, I drove over to pick him up to hang out somewhere. He brought me to Seletar Resevoir to look at the stars. Hahaha! He thought I would have jacket in Xabi, but I brought all the jackets up for laundry before LNY. We lay on the mat he brought and talk about a lot of nonsense, including the breakups and the exs. We had a mini-picnic there, as he brought biscuits, chocolates and our favourite vinegar drinks. Raymond said we are suppose to be catching "monkeys" there. Hahaha! We left when we couldn't stand the cold anymore. We were sharing one jacket between us!
Called Lester after that. He just got off work. We picked him up at his place and went to Bt Timah for supper. More like he had supper, but Raymond and I watched. I realised we always ordered three different variety of the same sort. On this night, I had teh si, Lester had his kopi and Raymond enjoyed his teh O. I thought this make a pretty good picture. Lester kept asking where we went, but we simply refused to tell him. As for why, I also don't know. I thought he probably won't understand.

3 February 2009
Was a Tuesday. Had arranged to meet Jill as she needed her Raymond Kor Kor to fix her PSP for her before she fly to Perth. I was to pick up Raymond at NYU, which he would say, another reason for me to spy on Mark Ge Ge. Reaching there, I was so hungry that he brought me to PS Cafe for dinner. In the photo, he was tossing the salad before serving it. Realising I had difficulties with my cutlery, he cut up everything for me, and end up swopping his dinner with mine. Hahaha! Yes, I was that bad!
She was shopping with her boyfriend at Junction 8. Knowing the extend of the damage, we went straight to AMK hub for repairs. After bidding Jill we bought yogurt and end up feeding each other at the shopping centre and in Xabi.

20 February 2009
This was taken after the first live sleague game of the season. I was feeling pretty down, but that's not the main point. Anyway, we went Mustafa to shop and were feeling hungry after all that shopping. Was wondering where to go for supper when we chance upon this late night dim sum place at the back alley near Mustafa. Ended eating that. That is Lester looking at the menu, and Raymond ordering.

Raymond wanted to borrow my goggles and I delivered it right to the doorsteps of his house. Watched the rest of LOTR - Fellowship of the Ring in his room, that was showing on Channel 5. And he dig out his box-set of LOTR and we watched Twin Towers (extended version). I dozed off here and there mid-way through the show. By the time the movie ended, it was 3.30am! He ask if I wanted to stay for the night, but I said no and went home, but not before making it a point to say we will watch Return of the King next Saturday.
