On to a London Shopping Spree

Fergie, you would rather gave a replay of this FA Cup-tie in London. A conclusion, many would come to, according to your starting line-up. So you rested your deadly strike force of Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke. Why? Is it because the Devils wanted a shopping spree in London this Wednesday?

Fergie, you thought Chelsea is in a different league as compared to Inter. Thought you could win the Blues, when have beaten Inter. Well, the fact is past records do not count. Football is round. This is the FA Cup! Anything can happen.

Fergie, within ten minutes of the match your captain saw yellow. Yet, he did not keep his mouth shut and continue to argue with the man in black. You knew you had the numerical advantage in the second half. But you did not use this chance to lead the Devils into the semi-finals. Is it because you despise the English teams after beating Inter Milan?

Fergie, you saw how Vialli’s soldiers fought on for him. The Devils could not break down the Blues’ wall. Because of the general who fought bravely in this war – Desaily. You began to panic. You opt for an all-out attack tactic in the dying minutes. Why not before?

Fergie, if not for the numerical advantage, you might have lost this war. So stop dreaming about the Treble and start respecting the English teams. If not, you might find yourself empty-handed again this season.
