Emotions Rollercoaster

After arranging schedules, I agreed to drive him around the island for his two games today. As usual, he made me waited downstairs for around 20 minutes, and this time, I'm smart enough to bring a book along. Wanted to make him drive, but he hasn't properly laced up his shoes yet, and as usual, we are in a hurry.

First words he said was, "You on leave huh? Never see you wear like this before leh?"

Err...New berms, and yes, never wear berms this colour. But not the first time I wore a polo t-shirt with berms wat.

And being the ever direction idiot, I once again needed a navigator, and he can comment that I not good with directions? Sigh....

But I was quite sure of where we were going after we hit the highway. But he had to tell me to correct exit as I was following the route to Tampines Stadium. Hahah. Tampines Safra is near the stadium, but not that near.

Game at Tampines Safra was the most vocal game I have ever watched. Everyone was shouting at the same time. Our team ended up winning 4-3, even though we were trailing 3-1 at half-time.

But he hopped onto Rongming's car without any explanation, and said I could follow Rongming's car. I was boiling mad. Am I really just a driver to you? Driver, I taking some other transport. You just follow.

The moment we reach the highway, I really wanted to just forget the entire game and go straight home. But I couldn't go home in this mental state. I was already speeding, losing them behind.

Turning out at the "correct" exit, I arrived at some place which I have never been before. It took me quite some time to figure out which way to go and I had to make a big round before I reached the correct place. We had an heated exchange over the phone. He said there is no need to throw such a bigh temper at him. So, am I really just a driver now?

I was fuming mad. It took some time for me to finally cool down and enjoy the games. At the end of it, I drove him home, and he can comment that it's very sweet for the girlfriend to be at home, preparing supper for the guy after a game. Er... I driver only lah, not sweet.

He called home to see if there's any food for him. Then he asked if I going Jun's house for maggie again. Aiyoh, who would want to eat maggie? (I ate Maggie at Jun's house the previous week after playing driver) I said no, I going home. So dinner? Go home eat maggie lor. He said, don't eat maggie lah. There is only soup waiting for him at home. I kept quiet, and the conversation steered.

At the junction near his place, he instructed to filter left. So I casually asked, you going home for dinner? He said no. We going for dinner. We talked about the WAGs of the boys, and how he spent $300 over for a set of clothes for a wedding, and stayed cleared of the heated exchanged just now.

His left ankle's injury recurred. And he's feeling the pain. He said erquan's parting words for the day was good. "This shows that you are getting old." And Xabi smelled like him...his smelly smell.
