A Time for Reminiscing
At the end of Lygon St stands Donetti's. From it's name, one would never guess that it sells cured meats. Hahaha!I back tracked a little to Faraday St, arriving at Brunnetti's. This shop occupies the whole section of the street and sells pastries and desserts. Though I don't have a sweet tooth, the pastries and cakes on display made me drool.
Last but not least of the Carlton Preccint was the Scopo Italian Bookshop. Needless to say, I spent a bomb there, buying postcards and very Italian stuff. Cheap thrill. Luckily the books for sale there were all in Italian. If not, God knows what will happen.
PS. I came across a toy shop that I shopped in way back in 1998. Couldn't help but to buy a bubble soap packed inside a container that is shaped like a kangeroo.
