Spirit of Tasmania

Soon, the earliest tram to St. Kilda’s came, but I missed it. So I hopped onto Tram 1 and made my way to South Melbourne Beach.

When I reached there, I realised that South Melbourne beach is the stretch of beach connecting Port Melbourne to St. Kilda’s beach. Therefore, I finally see the whole picture. Williamstown Beach is located furthest up north, then to Williamstown Pier, Port Melbourne, Station Pier (Beacon Cove), before arriving at Beaconsfield Parade (South Melbourne Beach). To the south, it’s St. Kilda’s beach before Brighton Beach.

I could see Spirit of Tasmania from afar, lamenting on the fact that will I ever get a chance to get on board the ship. I was already planning my next trip here. First to Adelaide, then a 3-day tour to Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road and then to Tasmania on board this ship. If there’s someone who is willing to accompany me when the time comes, I will be more than happy. But I would still do it, alone.
