SOS!!
The moment he was gone, I panic! I picked up my mobile and dialled for Aunty Wendy. I dare not go back to my room for fear that he will be waiting for me downstairs. Her advice was to wait until the café close and take a cab back. Still, I was scared. So she promised to get someone to talk to me, with Junior already out of the country. She told me to get out of the hostel and out of the city before sunrise the next day. And for God’s sake, don’t go to Brighton Beach!Alas! I went down, but there was no cab in sight as it was Friday night. So I ran all the way back. I have NEVER run this fast in my life!
That night, he called, and without acknowledging that he already knew what happened. Before I knew it, the whole story was out. His question was, since it’s so tough, why don’t I go home? But I have already booked my trip to Great Ocean Road. In the end, I promised to be extra careful, walked around the area before going back to the hostel and to call or text him when I’m safely back in my room.
Sigh… I seriously didn’t expect my holiday to be this happening!!
