Melbourne Cricket Ground

Speaking of Indian, I met an Indian from India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. He landed only this morning, and had to visit this sacred ground. According to him, all Indians play cricket. Oh, and there was no obvious reason as to why players wear white during cricket games. Colours are only allowed in those games other than test games. And the view from MCG was magnificent. Better than Rialto Tower, which I might go and take a look again.

I was so glad that I came and tour the MCG this afternoon as it will be closed from tomorrow for Commonwealth Games. The track, which is being added now into the ground at the expense of some spectators' seats, is imported from Italy.

The scoreboard they are using now is the third one after they dismantle the old manual scoreboard that is 100yr old. The electronic one which they first installed was sponsored and broke down after a couple of months. The second too, broke down. Apparently the manual is still functioning in India. Hahaha! Talk about modern technology!!

The guy who prepared breakfast for me and sis at Griffin's is still there!! I saw him from the window. Maybe I could request for another picture this time??

Looking at the time, I decided to explore the Greek precinct and Chinatown as all other places run by Ang Mohs are closed. I realised I was more and more relaxed as the time goes by. Perhaps by the time next Thursday comes for me to go home, I would once again find it hard to leave this place.
