London Bridge is Falling Down!

London Bridge is falling down! No one believes! There used to be a spot along the Great Ocean Road where the ocean waves carved it into the shape of London Bridge. Then in 15 January, 1990, the arch closest to the shoreline collapsed, leaving two tourists stranded. They had stayed on the outer side of the arch to take pictures of rocks falling.

People ran around town shouting “London Bridge has fallen” and the authorities thought it was a joke. It took two long hours before a helicopter rescued these two poor souls, hypothermic by the time help arrived. But what an experience for them!
